Raffle Grand Prize Drawing for This Carbon Fiber Beauty!
Trigon RQC929 full carbon performance masterpiece,
custom-fitted, over $9000 value

I know what you're thinking. Hey, isn't this is a road bike? Yes, and what a beautiful road bike it is. Trigon does make MTB frames, but they won't have their latest release of MTB frames available until after our event. So, Steve and Scott Smith from Trigon Bicycles North America generously offered us this ultra-high-end, brand new, sleek racing bike – outfitted with all the highest end carbon fiber components and full Shimano Dura-Ace groupo.

.

This beauty is an elite level race bike! These bikes aren't even available to the general public until this coming fall, but we have one for our event. One lucky Grand Prize winner will get a custom-fitted bike just their size (fitting courtesy of Craig Hopps with Efficiency Coaching). Many of our 50 Mile Riders and their friends also ride road, and we think they'd love to have a shot at winning this bike. This is the fastest and coolest road bike you will ever want to see – let alone ride.

Raffle notes: To be eligible for the Grand Prize drawing, you must buy at least $20 in raffle tickets. You will receive (1) red raffle ticket and (20) blue raffle tickets for every $20 you purchase. The blue tickets are used for our general prize drawing, and the red raffle ticket will be used for our Grand Prize drawing. You MUST BE PRESENT to win. Raffle will be held during our post-ride party at Cooks, at approximately 3pm after most riders are off the course.

50 mile ride - Route

Starting at Cook's Corner, this full route will climb into the back side of O'Neill, proceed through and out of the park near the RSM lake, and make its way to the Dove Canyon waterfall. Then we'll ride the ridge trails all the way to Caspers Wilderness Park, dropping down Star Rise and catching trails including Bell Canyon, Oso, Cougar, and back to Bell Canyon. At the end of Bell Canyon we arrive at a parking lot and rest rooms that will be our outermost checkpoint and refueling/aid station. From there we proceed up East Ridge all the way to Cougar/Oso, back on Bell Canyon and up Star Rise, tracing our route all the way back to the Dove Canyon waterfall (an aid station will be there as well). After refueling, we ride past the Coto main gate, climb and traverse Chiquita Ridge, head down Tijeras Creek trail to the Arroyo Trabuco Trail. Then we turn back to O'Neill, climb through the park and head back to Cooks Corner for some well-earned rest and recreation.

25 mile ride - Route

This ride shares the same beginning and ending route as the 50 miler - but it skips the entire middle Caspers section. It starts at Cook's, climbs through O'Neill and on to the Dove Canyon waterfall. However, instead of riding out to Caspers, this group will head directly over to the Chiquita Ridge trail, down Tijeras Creek to the Arroyo Trabuco Trail, back through O'Neill and finish up at Cook's for some post-ride fun.

5 mile fun ride

This fun ride is open to riders of all ages. It's an easy route, travelling along the paved Aliso Creek Bike Trail from Cooks Corner down to Saddleback Church and back. Enjoy fun games for riders along the way. NOTE: Children under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
NEW THIS YEAR: Top 3 point finishers in the games will receive prizes. Plus, decorate your helmet and be eligible to win prizes in our Crazy Helmet Contest.

Rain or Shine

Rain is always a possibility this time of year. But playing outside in the rain can be a fun adventure, right? Our event will be held on our scheduled date, rain or shine. So please prepare accordingly. If the planned dirt trails are not open, we have an alternate route along the Aliso Creek bike trail. But pray for sunshine - we all know that riding on dirt is a whole lot more fun!

Post-Ride Party

After the ride join us for a BBQ sponsored by Cook's Corner. We'll have a HUGE raffle with tons of cool gifts donated by our generous sponsors. Plus, there'll be massage therapists, booths from local bike shops, and live music. Bring your friends and family to share in the fun!
